Deskerado, a new co-working company has launched its first coworking concept in the thriving downtown vicinity of Ocean Springs. Deskerado is a coworking space designed to bring like-minded people together to work in one environment, to learn from each other, network, stimulate creativity, and get stuff done. Deskerado members gain access to a flexible productive workspace designed for collaboration
and professional growth. Entrepreneurs, remote workers, freelancers, and new business startups can find their workplace for much less than traditional office space rental. Members enjoy access to work spaces and meeting space, unlimited coffee, high speed wifi, and monthly learning events. Premium members also gain access to monthly one-on-one business coaching from the founders.
Deskerado LLC was founded by Greg Arnold and Mark Aultman, experienced entrepreneurs and business consultants. Arnold explains, “Progressive business resources should exist for everyone, not just those living in larger cities. Coworking is about working smarter in nontraditional ways.” Arnold and Aultman have launched several successful businesses from their coworking space and felt it was time to open the doors for others. Co-working in the United States is projected to make up 40% of the workforce as early as 2020. Essentially, coworking is people working in the same place together that are not part of the same company. It is a movement away from traditional office spaces to a more open and collaborative environment. It has become a global movement towards creating innovative, cost-effective and community-based workplace environments for independent or remote workers.
Ocean Springs Mississippi is now on the cutting edge of an exploding trend in the United States and the global market. Deskerado plans to increase it’s presence by expanding into other small cities and suburbs across the United States. Arnold tells us, “Ocean Springs will be the flagship model and serve as a blueprint to help others launch their own Deskerado community. There’s far more people working in small cities and suburbs than in larger metropolitan areas who deserve the same access to these types of resources.”
Workers can join Deskerado by choosing from a range of membership levels priced from $156 – $350 per month. Whether the need is one or two days per week or a full-time dedicated workspace, there is a package suited to fit. Arnold sums up, “Coffee shops and cafe’s are great, but they aren’t built for the worker, they are designed for the consumer. Deskerado offers the look and feel of that coffee shop vibe, while designed exclusively for doing business and helping our members succeed.”
