Since the Pascagoula Refinery began operating in 1963, we have grown to be Chevron’s largest domestic refinery, and one of the top petroleum refineries in the country. We process an average of 330,000 barrels of crude oil per day – enough to cover a football field to a depth of 32 feet – to manufacture gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, premium base oil and chemicals that are used as building blocks in plastics, garments, toys and other essential products.
