employee networks connect, inform
Last year, an estimated 20,000 employees – nearly 40 percent of our regular workforce – participated in Chevron’s many employee networks that celebrate and explore diversity. These networks act as a resource for attracting and retaining new talent, providing formal mentoring and coaching to facilitate the transfer of knowledge, skills and experiences throughout the company, and enhance Chevron’s reputation through community activities and outreach.
refinery receives state-wide honor
For the second year in a row, Chevron was honored for the company’s diversity efforts at the annual ourMississippi Honors Gala in Tupelo, Miss. The fourth annual event was hosted by ourMississippi Magazine to recognize Mississippi corporations for their efforts in promoting diversity and inclusion.
chevron scores 100% on equality index
Chevron has received a 100% score on the 2017 Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Corporate Equality Index (CEI).
This is the 12th year in a row that the company has received a perfect score and was deemed among the “Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality.” This year, an impressive 517 achieved a 100% score. Chevron remains the largest Fortune 1000 company with a perfect score on the CEI.
Our perfect score on the HRC Corporate Equality Index is a reflection of Chevron’s commitment and dedication to workplace equality and the embodiment of Chevron Way values.
